Times - Good looking site. The info is good and well laid out. Right hand side has scrolling text of latest news. Nice and succint headlines, good in depth news in full.

British Olympic Association - Gives details of the work done by the Association.

SkySports - Find out breaking news previews and results. Good site that has loads of info for the user. For best news, check out the headlines.

Eurosport - For 24 hour coverage during the period of the Games. Lots of info on the Games and the events leading up to the start of the competition.

NBCOlympics - Get to know the US competitors. Loads of info, pics and biogs of every US competitor. Get to know the schedules of all events, and the latest breaking news from the Games. Focusses predictably on solely US athletes.

Olympic Information Center - US info site. All about the history and every other aspect of the competition. Vast resource of details for anyone looking for them.

Ancient Olympic Games Virual Museum - Details the history and tradition of the true origins. Very detailed, fascinating and well put together site that gives all the info you could want on the real ancient foundations of the modern Olympic Games.

International Olympic Committee - For Sydney it links to the official site but good for future Games info.

Australian Tourist Commission. - Masses of info. Gives all the lowdown on the country as a whole, but no specifics about availability or tours round Sydney during the time of the Games.
